Lindsay from Sorell tells us why he volunteers as an adult literacy tutor.

“Participating in the Adult Literacy Tutor Program helps me keep my mind active, alert and focused in my retirement. I enjoy helping people and watching them improve through their tutoring sessions. I also enjoy my students company.”

The secret is, you've just got to put your hand up and ask for help

"26Ten is a good idea. People out there should know that there's opportunities available for them. All the infrastructure is there. All they have to do is walk in and put their hand up."
