Julie's learning journey

"I can sit down now and listen to the grandchildren, and even with my own kids, listen to their home readers, do their home readers with them, and even read the kids stories. I feel more confident and more happy in my own self."

Julie's story

After reaching out to Kinimathatakinta/George Town Library for help with her reading and maths, Julie can now do many things that have changed her life, such as going into a supermarket with confidence and being able to read the prices of things. Julie can now also read to her children and grandchildren and help them with their homework.
