Julia's story
Adult Literacy Tutor at Sorell Library, Julia says she’s lucky to be able to help others.
“Being part of the Adult Literacy Tutor Program with Libraries Tasmania has made my move to Tasmania much easier and more pleasant. Through this program I’ve met wonderful and caring people who like me, love to be able to help and improve other people’s life through education. I’m lucky to be able to help migrants like me to learn and navigate through the English language.”

Bluegum Grounds Maintenance - improving safety at work
"I think that the guys have actually bonded a lot better because of their understanding. [They've] not only learned to understand the policies and procedures more, but because of that, they've helped each other, and so the whole atmosphere in the last six months has changed in a very positive way."
