Brent's story

Brent Hardy recognised the need to boost the reading, writing and digital skills of his workforce in preparation for introducing new online work systems. He applied for a 26Ten grant, organised training and supported employees to learn in the workplace.

Alisha's story

"With the help of my tutor, I am now a fully licensed driver. We did the practical driving as well as the written activities. I passed my driver’s test the first time! I was so excited."

"My grandson showed interest in hearing about my life story. This inspired me to learn to read and write. So I went to the library and was matched with a volunteer tutor who helped me start learning."
