26Ten Week 2026 - Social Media Tile 1

This year’s theme is ‘Changing lives. One story at a time’. We’re collecting stories to show the difference literacy, numeracy and digital skills make in people’s lives. 

We want to hear from all those involved in adult literacy and numeracy – learners, tutors, volunteers, workplaces, service providers, staff and community members – about why it matters. 

These stories will help raise awareness of adult literacy, encourage others to improve their skills and highlight the valuable work happening across Tasmania. 

What can you do to celebrate 26Ten Week?

  • Visit a pop-up storytelling event at a library near you. Find out more at 26Ten Week 26–30 October – Libraries Tasmania  
  • Share in your community or workplace. Have a morning tea or create a display using the resources below to give people the opportunity to share their stories. 
  • Email us at email@26ten.tas.gov.au to share your story.
