Family fun with letters and numbers
26Ten Week will run from 21 to 27 October 2024. This year, we are highlighting the importance of family literacy and numeracy.
Family literacy and numeracy is about bringing reading, writing and everyday maths into the home and making it a family activity. Family literacy is an important part of raising literacy levels in Tasmania, as when parents have the confidence to support their children’s learning, children achieve better outcomes.
26Ten works with adults to build their skills, so they can support literacy and numeracy in their children.
