26TEN on track to meet ambitious goals Progress Report 2016

The 2016 Progress Report on 26TEN Tasmania: Tasmania’s strategy for adult literacy and numeracy 2016-2025 has been released and shows we are on track to meet our ambitious goals.

The Strategy is recognised nationally and internationally as a ground-breaking community-wide approach to tackling a problem that is faced by countries around the world. The report outlines progress against the Strategy since it began in October 2015, assessed through statistics and stories that show the impact of 26TEN.

Thanks to the 26TEN network including our Coalition, members and supporters, literacy practitioners, grant recipients and adult learners.
We would like to thank the 26TEN network for the increase in activity that is helping us achieve our goal that: Everyone knows about adult literacy and numeracy. The 26TEN Network has close to 600 members and supporters, with over 42 new organisational members and 396 new individual supporters since October 2015.

That’s more than double our two-year target!

Remember to keep spreading the word and let us know if we can help you with building literacy and numeracy skills, workshops, information about grants, presentations or promotional materials.
